Fast and Accurate

Airfoil blades are designed to maintain optimum aerodynamics while experimenting high temperatures and exposition to the elements. Designed for high-performance the built-in 3D line profiler achieves fast scan speeds (up to 10 kHz), and high 0.013 - 0.017 mm resolution.

Automated defect detection

Turbine blade inspection can be challenging; being able to inspect features, leading-edge surfaces, root geometry, and cooling holes is crucial. The UMA Blade integrates a high precision blue laser line sensor, a high-speed 3D scanner with advanced optics that deliver superior data quality on micro-features and challenging material surfaces.

Also considered a High-Speed Optical CMM, the UMA Blade is an excellent solution to move from contact probing to fast contactless inspection.
